Non Receipt of PCI Validation Fee
If your business is not Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant, you will be charged a monthly fee called the Non-Receipt of PCI Data Validation Fee. If this fee has been assessed to your account, it is because your account was not considered to be compliant by the 25th day of the statement period month.
If you choose to validate your PCI compliance status with SecurityMetrics they will send a copy of your certification directly to us and you will not be assessed this fee.
If you choose to validate your PCI compliance status with a third party, you will need to send us your validation documentation. You can upload your documentation here or fax it to 402-916-6487. You'll also need to provide the self-assessment questionnaire and quarterly scan (if applicable) when completing the form or faxing proof of compliance.
Please note that you must complete the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) on an annual basis and achieve a passing score. If you electronically store cardholder information or if your processing systems have any Internet connectivity, a quarterly scan by an approved scanning vendor is also required.
If your business is not PCI compliant and you would like to use our preferred vendor, see our Five Easy Steps , call SecurityMetrics at 800-557-4684, or enroll online now.
If you have received this fee, and feel you are PCI compliant, please complete the self-assessment questionnaire or fax your proof of compliance to (402) 916-6487. The self-assessment questionnaire and quarterly scan (if applicable) must be provided when completing the form or faxing proof of compliance.
Every business that accepts debit or credit cards must be PCI compliant, regardless of the number of cards or transactions accepted or whether or not it is a seasonal business. If your business has multiple locations, notify SecurityMetrics or your third party PCI vendor upfront so that you can certify only once for all locations.
